Based on award-winning research and open-source tech, we have built Unikraft Cloud, a next generation cloud platform that allows for order-of-magnitude better efficiency, performance and security.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate closely with clients to onboard and migrate their significant infrastructure onto our platform.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and refine customer deployments to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical expertise in containerized environments, including Docker/Dockerfiles and Linux-based systems.
  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate the complexities of cloud infrastructure.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to improve our offerings based on customer feedback.

Who You Are

Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with containers, Docker, and Dockerfiles.
  • Deep understanding of Linux systems and build systems.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for working directly with customers.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience with OCI Distribution, OCI Image Specification and other standards and their implementations.

  • Enthusiasm for building reliable, high-performance systems.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new programming languages, runtimes and environments. As a field engineer you’ll deal with Rust, Node, Go, Python, C++, different build systems, different runtimes, frameworks, libraries etc.

Nice-to-Have

  • Programming experience with languages like C/C++ and Go.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies like QEMU/KVM. Micro-VMMs like Cloud-Hypervisor or Firecracker are a plus.
  • Experience working directly with customers.
